Since I haven't really been keeping up with xanga this summer here is a quick overview in photos of what we have been doing these past few months:

New bunkbeds! The girls had been sleeping together in a double bed - now they sleep together on the bottom.

Right before John and Helen set off on their 8 1/2 mile hike. She was so excited.

Grandma Karen's first visit -- doing painting projects with the girls. Thank you Grandma.

Beatrice and Nate found a pair of scissors and cut each others hair. Then we went to Cost Cutters.

Not a very clear picture, but it captures how incrediably exicited they were to be riding their "first carnival ride."

I am planning to post more pictures of our summer, but need to run a couple of errands.

Fun! Some new ones I hadn't seen. Did Nate go out to eat right after the haircut?

Lots of fun times! Bunk beds have given us much more floor space!! In another year or two we'll have to get some more for the twins. Our rooms are small, and it is such a good solution! All the kids love playing in them. They tuck a blanket into the top mattress so it hangs down and then they have their "secret clubhouse". We are still praying for you.
